Face all of life’s challenges with confidence

Shane Mitchell, MA, LMHC

I’ve been told that I’m the therapist for people who aren’t comfortable with the idea of seeing a therapist.

When I was setting up my practice my father-in-law suggested I name it, “Love & Laughter Therapy” and said this was, “because that’s what people are going to get from [me] and [I] might as well tell them up front.” As you can see, I went with a different name, but you’ll still get love and laughter in our sessions.

I’ll speak with you in plain language like a regular person, and together we’ll do the work of therapy.

I’m looking forward to meeting you.

In the average week, I work with a wide range of identities and backgrounds. Whatever your values and beliefs, I will respectfully support you in fulfilling your health goals.

Core Principles

You don't have to suffer

Psychotherapy is a life-enhancing exploration that uncovers and heals the scars we’ve collected over a lifetime leaving us free and empowered to continue on with strength and pride.

No regrets

I’m committed to people being able to live their lives with power and agency in every interaction. Able to relate to others with love and respect, and acting in ways that avoid regrets later on.

Quality care

I’m dedicated to my own rigorous, ongoing personal and professional growth so that you receive the highest level of care.
