Hi, I’m Shane

Everyone struggles. Often, when people struggle, they feel separate. I love that the work I do includes connecting with others and providing them an experience of connection.

I’m here to support you in having the life you want — developing the tools, leadership, confidence, and know-how to handle life, including all the wonderful and challenging events and circumstances that come your way.

I’ve been told that I’m the therapist for people who aren’t comfortable with the idea of seeing a therapist. I’m down-to-earth, direct, a lover of music, photography, and laughter. I’ll speak with you in normal language like a regular person… and we’ll do the work of therapy (more about that under Services).

I pursued a graduate education to become a therapist after experiencing first-hand what therapy with a skilled therapist did for my life. Now, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) with a Master of Arts in Psychology from Seattle University. I also have an additional certification in Pain Reprocessing Therapy, am an EMDRIA-approved EMDR therapist, and have completed an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) externship.

My clientele spans a wide range of identities and backgrounds. Whatever your values and beliefs, I will respectfully support you.

I’m looking forward to meeting you.
